Dream can be so real!
There are some things that can be real but Dream are one of the things that are not real as much as you want them to be they are not as much as you wish they were. Some are so real people actually believe that they are real they can also feel so real. You can believe as long and as much as you want that these dreams are real but they aren't.

My Brief For Summer Term GCSE Photography. Moving Image Project!
"nice stuff Miss BUT what are we doing this term?????"
Or at least that is what I hear you saying???
BRIEF; - produce a short film - 30 seconds to 2 minutes long
THEME; Dreams
TECHNIQUE? - that is up to you - this blog has shown you lots of examples - and will continue to do so - you need to have evidence of
- trying out different images and techniques
- drafting ideas
- animatics
- flic books
- using the way sound can influence the audience
- storyboarding
- researching dreams
- organising
- planning
- producing
HOW DO I DO THAT???
Firstly:
talk through different routes with me/friends and then choose the method for keeping evidence
1. book/journal or sketchbook
2. blog - a bit like this one
Then create/title it and follow the steps below - there will be a post & a worksheet to support each one
- research and generate ideas for the theme (remember: it is DREAMS)
- research three different cinematography/moving image techniques (there are several on here but you only need three, once you have chosen three carry out your own research - you could add to the examples here - don't just nick my research)
- use a storyboard to experiment with different ideas (you can draw, collage, cut and paste, use photos - any way you prefer - keep all the pages and trials as evidence for marks)
- find out about sound- how to do it and what impact it can have on your own construction
- diagetic sound (in real life)
- Foleying
- amplifying mood
- creating suspence
- ways of making it
- collect a wide range of photos of possibilities for
- models
- locations
- props
- angles/frame/depth of field
- lighting effects
- find out the difference between using Mc/apple techniques like i-stopmotion or i-movie and pc versions such as movie-maker or vegas. there is no rule to which one you use BUT I must be able to prove you did it - validity is important as this is controlled coursework.
- plan the script/storyboard.timings and choose actore - even though we may not hear their voices actors need to feel they have direction and help to get in the mood
- capture the images
- drop them onto a time-line and create the final piece.
throughout the project - use the blog/journal to record your thoughts, ideas and frustrations - think of it as a diary (except this one will earn you lots of marks)

DREAMS!
By Melissa!
Dream are very strange things you have when you are asleep sometime you can have then when you are awake they are often called day dreams. They can be different types about different things some feel like they are real this is called Surrealism. Some others aren't so real. Our Dreams seem to be based round things we most fear or are obsessions. Many of them seen to be beyond possible.
